Helmshore sits in a valley surrounded by fields and woodland, so many gardens here back onto trees, streams or open land. Typical jobs include cutting back trees that overhang gardens and lanes, reducing boundary hedges, and removing self-seeded trees that have grown too big too close to houses. Older stone cottages often have narrow access, which is no problem for our rope-based methods.

We check for Tree Preservation Orders and conservation area restrictions with Rossendale Borough Council before any work.
